These Terms of Service govern your use of LokFeed, a mobile application for civic discussion and reporting on public services in India. By creating an account or using LokFeed, you agree to these Terms.
LokFeed is a platform that hosts content posted by its users about public services, civic infrastructure, and government departments, with the aim of encouraging transparency and dialogue. LokFeed does not generate, author, edit, endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, or reliability of any content posted by users, and any views expressed in user posts are those of the individual users and do not reflect the views, opinions, or positions of LokFeed or its operators.
LokFeed operates as an intermediary within the meaning of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and complies with applicable notice-and-action and grievance procedures.
LokFeed reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to moderate, restrict, hide, remove, or otherwise act on any content or account on the platform, including in response to legal requests, valid takedown notices, grievances, suspected abuse, or violations of applicable law, and to suspend or terminate access to the service in whole or in part at any time.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LokFeed, its operators, affiliates, employees, and service providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of the service, content posted by users, downtime or interruptions, or third-party services integrated with the platform, regardless of the legal theory on which any such claim is based.
The service may rely on or integrate third-party services (including but not limited to authentication, hosting, storage, mapping, analytics, and notification providers), and LokFeed is not responsible for the availability, performance, content, or practices of such third parties.
LokFeed may update, modify, or discontinue any feature of the service at any time, and may revise these Terms from time to time; continued use of the service after any such change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhanbad, India.
